The company Testigence Software GmbH was founded in 2016 under the name PikeTec Testmanagement GmbH, which emerged as a subsidiary of PikeTec GmbH (now part of Synopsys Inc.). Since 2020, Testigence Software GmbH has been operating completely self-sufficiently.

The current CEO Martin Kost, was responsible for the product PTM from the very beginning and brought in his technical experience in the area of database and information system development. Other founders contributed their know-how from developing software tools for testing embedded systems and helped to create a professional environment for software development and customer support.

The name Testigence is composed of the goal to support test activities and the methodical focus on intelligence. Together with the customer, Testigence develops smart solutions to simplify and automate test processes.
